Teaching and Learning
At BGP, our lesson cycle is built on the fundamentals of how children learn best. Every lesson begins with a Connect, where children retrieve and revisit knowledge from previous learning. The teacher then models the new skill, ensuring that children can see exactly what success looks like. After this, pupils are given the opportunity to practice the skill independently or collaboratively, applying what they have learned. Finally, each lesson ends with a chance for children to demonstrate their understanding, showing the progress they have made.
